"The Hybrid" by Debbie Oppermann. I was very surprised to see this rare Domestic Greylag x Canada Goose hybrid on the Speed River in Guelph Ontario Canada on this cold winter day. This unique Goose was hanging out with a group of Canada Geese. The Domestic Greylag Goose is not native to Canada with their home territory being Europe and Asia and they will breed with Canada Geese. These geese were enjoying the lovely sunshine while walking on snowy ice.
